These are the prophets, they speak and things change
New worlds are created, old ones rearranged
They serve as the counsellors to God Most High
So prophesy, prophet, prophesy

Adam, Abel, Enoch, Noah,
Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Balaam,
Moses, Aaron, Miriam, Joshua,
Eldad, Medad, and the seventy elders
Samuel had a group of prophets
Saul (What, Saul?!? Was Saul among the prophets?)
David, Nathan, Gad the Seer
These all prophesied, we hear them

Ahijah the Shilonite spoke to Jeroboam
A man of God from Judah did the same
Shemaiah spoke to Rehoboam in the south
The old man from Bethel had some lies in his mouth!

He fed them bread and water and he made them all behave

It's hard to play games with kids of such names
I wonder what he was thinking?

And their mother is always gone....

Mom and Dad told us to shun them

These neighbours defile us, we feel impure
We think we've been insulted but we're not quite sure....
